The 85th edition of “Festa dell’Uva” (the grape festival), one of the most popular festivals in Ossola, starts on Thursday 9th September 2010 in Masera. For five days, until Monday 13th September, we celebrate the forthcoming harvest of grapes.

Dances, concerts, exhibitions and refreshment points await the public, coming not only from Ossola but also from throughout Piedmont, nearby Switzerland and Lombardy.

Here are the most important dates:

- Friday 10th September 2010: the “Polentata”, with typical local dishes;
- Saturday 11th September 2010: firework displays;
- Sunday 12th September: the traditional float parade;
- Monday 13th September: the “Palio delle Frazioni”, a traditional donkey race.
