The sporting event, traditionally closing the summer season, which in the last editions has seen the participation of over 700 athletes of all ages, is scheduled for Sunday 29th August 2010.

We’re speaking about the “Angera – Arona” crossing, this year at its 17th edition: all the participants will swim across the waters of Lake Maggiore in an atmosphere of fun, friendship and solidarity. For several years, in fact, the event, started in 1994, has also had humanitarian purposes.

At the end of the crossing (1.200 meters long) the swimmers receive a participation certificate and a T-shirt, designed by a local artist.
