The “Palio Remiero”, the unique nightly rowing race of Italy, comes back on Saturday 14th August 2010, on the lakeside of Verbania Pallanza, in order to entertain the public.

At 10 o’clock there will be “Estate a Verbania… non solo mercatini” (Summer in Verbania… not only stalls) and “Creartisti in Piazza”: craftsmen and artists will exhibit their works, giving direct demonstration of their ability.

The first non-competitive rowing race of Verbania, organized by the Rowing Society of Verbania Pallanza, departs from Verbania Intra at 5 pm and arrives in Verbania Pallanza at 6 pm. From 5 pm, in Verbania Pallanza, there will be the Festival of lake fish, organized by “La Riva” Association.

Finally, at 8.30 pm, the long-awaited event: the “Palio Remiero”. After the palio there will be a wonderful firework show!
