After the Spring Concerts held in May and the Musical Meditations, which go on until 7th August, the Musical Weeks of Stresa and Lake Maggiore reach their highest moment in order to entertain the sophisticated audience, thanks to the best musicians coming from all over the world.
Here is the programme of the festival in the month of August:- Sunday 22nd August at 20.30, Congress Hall in Stresa: Opening concert;
- Monday 23rd August at 20.30, Loggia del Cashmere - Isola Madre: Brunello Baroque Experience;
- Tuesday 24th August at ore 20.30, Congress Hall in Stresa: The age of enlightenment;
- Wednesday 25th August at 20.30, Castello Visconteo in Vogogna: Jokes;
- Thursday 26th August at 20.30, Castello Visconteo in Massino Visconti: String games;
- Friday 27th August at 20.30, Congress Hall in Stresa: Slavic tales;
- Saturday 28th August at 18.00 and at 20.30, Chiesa del Crocifisso - Stresa: Sonatas and Partitas;
- Sunday 29th August at 20.30, Congress Hall in Stresa: Welser-Möst & Cleveland Orchestra;
- Monday 30th August at 20.30, Auditorium “La Fabbrica” – Villadossola: Solists from the Berliner Philharmoniker;
- Tuesday 31st August at ore 20.30, Tapestry Hall – Isola Bella: Borodin Quartet.
