NewsCycling in the park with your camera
A bike, a camera and the desire to loose yourself in enchanting landscapes, that's all you need to be part of the national competition Cycling in Piedmont's parks promoted by the magazine Piemonte Parchi. This competition, open until 30th November 2007, is for those who wish to get around Piedmont's many parks and nature reserves and take suggestive photos of the natural and environmental beauty that Piedmont offers.
Riding your bike you'll be able to follow the different itineraries of the Verbano Cusio Ossola parks (Parco Val Grande, Parco Veglia Devero, Riserva Naturale di Fondotoce) until you reach the protected areas in the Province of Novara (Lagoni di Mercurago, Riserva Naturale di Dormetello) and take shots representing the use of a bike within the parks and the nature reserves.
Sport, fun, photography and nature are the ingredients of this competition that promotes visiting the numerous protected areas using a bike, an ideal means of transport to peacefully get to know uncontaminated nature in complete relaxation.
There will be space for creativity with shots that immortalise lakes, rivers, moors, mountains and hills, images where the true essence of nature is the protagonist.
Participants must send by 30th November 2007 a series of five images on paper or digitally following the instructions published on the site www.piemonteparchiweb.it. Participation is free.
