The 36th edition of the Valle Intrasca Marathon will take place on Sunday 6th June 2010.

With the start and finish line in Piazza Ranzoni in Verbania Intra, the race unfolds through Miazzina, Pian Cavallone, Intragna, Caprezzo, Ramello and Cambiasca.

This mountain running competition, organised by the Verbano Intra CAI and the Intra National Alpine Association, covers a distance of 32km with a total rise/fall of 1,500 metres.

A shorter 14km long marathon, called "Maratonina", has also been scheduled and in the afternoon children are invited to take part to the Sgambettata Marathon: on this occasion snacks will be served and the money will be given to the Verbania Children's Hospital.
