“Cactus Folies” is a show of rare and collectors’ succulents held every July in the beautiful exhibition rooms of the 19th century Villa Giulia in Verbania.

Unique and rare specimens from specialised nurseries are on display, and many are also for sale. Some of the cacti on show are exceptionally fine specimens from the private collections of the exhibiting nurseries, and come from all over the world.

Expert cactus growers are on hand to give advice on growing cacti, their care, and species identification. Every year prizes are awarded to the best specimens shown by collectors or cactus lovers, and the event includes photographic exhibitions or presentations of books on succulent plants.

A must for lovers of prickly green plants!
