Novara has since 2005 aspired to be a capital of international Gospel singing, welcoming artists from all over the world, the United States and the United Kingdom in particular.

Over the years artists appearing here have included Richard Smallwood, Kirk Franklin, Kimberly Covington, Wayne Ellington , Clive Brown and Donnie McClurkin. Artists of this calibre have contributed to the popularity of the Novara Gospel Festival in Italy and the world.

But the interest of Novara people in Gospel does not end with the performances of the famous. In addition to concerts there are workshops, singing courses, seminars and guided visits to the Novara Hills and the nearby lakes.
