China gets closer

After participation at a number of fairs dedicated to the territory and tourism, the blue province moves towards China. The Lake District Tourist Board will take part in the CITM (China International Travel Market) which will be held from 24th to 27th November 2005.

It is a very important event for two reasons: firstly because China is growing in potential again- 150 years after its last period of greatness and secondly because several other Asian countries will be represented too. It will be a great showcase for the future of the VCO: to mark the occasion the district will present the new pocket guide to the territory, translated into Chinese. The guide will also contain specialist editorial inserts.

Also coming soon is a new guide dedicated to academic tourism, containing didactic itineraries within the territory| the guide will be presented at the "Borsa del Turismo Scolastico" held in Genoa from 23rd to 25th November 2005.Still on the subject of tourism, another piece of precious promotional material has been created, that is the new "Verbania in Bloom....and much more" handbook, dedicated to the principal events scheduled in the province for 2006. The main features are the events connected with flowers and gardens, The Verbano flagship.
