On February 27th the inhabitants of Santa Maria Maggiore will wander around the town in order to wake up spring, after times of freezing winter.

First, the participants will gather in the main square at 9.15 a.m. in order to prepare their equipment (stocks, cowbells, aprons); then they will leave at 10 a.m. and walk around the town with a musician and a photographer by their side, and finally they will get back to the starting point at 12.30 p.m. where they will have some hot chocolate.

During the walk kids will be given some sweets too.
