Food and wine tasting in Verbania

The pleasures of the dining and the palate which derive from traditional flavours and recipes will be protagonists at the eating and drinking events held in Verbania squares on 3rd and 4th July 2009 at the event "Degustare a Verbania".

Promoted by Confcommercio and in collaboration with VCO Chamber of Commerce, VCO Province, Verbania Council, Banca popolare di Intra and Associazione Pasticceri VCO, the initiative offers visitors a chance to discover (or rediscover) some of the delicacies our territory has on offer.

Piazza Ranzoni, Corso Mameli, Piazza San Rocco, Isolino, Piazza San Vittore and Piazza Castello are the five tasting areas where people can tickle their taste-buds with wine from Piedmont, Cheese from the Ossola Valleys, First courses from Piedmont such as tortelloni or the renowned gnocchi all'ossolana with chestnut flour as well as fish dishes from the lake and home-made desserts.

Both evenings will start at 6pm and will be accompanied by light music in the background.
