The VII edition of the cultural review "I sentieri del gusto" is now drawing to an end. We are, or course talking about the food and drink series of events promoted by the Ente Parco Nazionale Val Grande (Val Grande National Park).

From September to November the wandering event animated some of the most characteristic locations in the Verbano Cusio Ossola Province.

Having studied the cards completed by those who took part in the evenings organised by numerous restaurants within and outside the National Park, a classification of five finalists has been drawn up. In the 2008 edition the locations with the highest votes were Ristorante Songino in Beura Cardezza, il Ristorante Le Colonne in Santa Maria Maggiore, il Ristorante Novara in Pallanza, il Ristorante Antichi Sapori in Intra and l'Agriturismo Monterosso in Verbania.

On Thursday 23rd April 2009 at Ristorante Novara in Verbania this year's winner will be awarded thePiatto del Parco" [The park's greatest dish].
