NewsCine and Cibo Forum film festival in Verbania
On 17th March, 31st March and 14th April 2010 the Cine e Cibo Forum film festival will present three movies on the theme "Diritto al cibo!" (Right to food!) at the Ceretti library in Verbania.
On Wednesday 17th March 2010 the movie Terra libera tutti will be projected, a movie about two Sicilian organizations, Libera and Placido Rizzotto, that fight against Mafia by promoting civic culture.
On Wednesday 31st March the french movie Delicatessen will tell you the story about a crazy butcher who exchanges human flesh for crops with his customers.
Last but not least, on Wednesday 14th April the documentary Storie di terra e di rezdore will describe the life of the peasants farmers that work around Modena, and will talk about the typical food traditions of this area.
The movies will start at 6.00 p.m.
