The botanical gardens of Villa Taranto in Verbania, Maggiore Lake, re-open to the thousand of visitors that usually come to visit every year. The new season will start on 26th March until 1st November 2010.

Every day, saturdays and sundays too, from 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. you can marvel at over 20.000 flower and 1.000 plants species. Moreover, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. you can visit the Herbarium of the Captain, which is composed of 43 theca of spontaneous flora original of the regions of the United Kingdom.

Besides, many events are offered this year too: the Tulip week from 18th to 25th April, the Tasting walk day on the 30th of May and the Permanent Dahlia Exhibition from July until October 2010.
