The Feast of Transhumance is an awaited event that, year after year, is appreciated by many people, coming from all over the Upper Vergante.

The Transhumance Festival 2011 opens its doors Saturday 22nd October with a local specialties dinner. The ritual of transhumance is programmed on Sunday 23rd October: brown Piedmontese cows will arrive in the village of Nebbiuno in the early afternoon, around 3 pm, and they will be accompanied by shepherds into the stables, where they will spend the cold season.
