On Saturday 27th December the second edition of TEATRO AMATORABILE will start, a cultural and artistic project that involves Amateur Theatre from the entire VCO province. Following the success of the first edition a series of events have been scheduled for the 2008/09 theatre season with amateur theatre companies from the territory taking front stage.

Over twenty shows are on the bill in theatres in Verbania, Domodossola and Omegna thanks to the participation of an impressive 14 theatre companies. Like last year, the historic events such as GIOCHI DI FINZIONE in Domodossola, or L'ALTRA STAGIONE in Omegna, will be a part of the Provincial network, nevertheless maintaining their own identity| in addition to this there will also be AMATORIABILE VERBANIA in Verbania.The opening night of this series will take place in Omegna on the evening of Friday 27th December 2008 at 21.00, at the Teatro Sociale where the company Arcanmazione will perform in the show I ragazzi di High School Musical, which will be repeated at the Galletti theatre in Domodossola on Monday 5th January and in Verbania at the S. Anna Auditorium on Tuesday 6th January. Also over the festive period the Company dul dialett from Intra will perform the show Cula bun'anima in Domodossola on Saturday 3rd January.
