In Verbano Cusio Ossola's main town the magic atmosphere of Christmas can be felt in the squares and on the lakefront from Pallanza to Intra. Throughout December and in the first week of January, Verbania will offer a rich calendar of events that include moments of sheer fun and at the same time solidarity. Following the first two successful weekends of the Christmas markets in Verbania excitement is now building up for the many other events scheduled over the festive period. On Sunday 21st December Via Marconi will host Creartisti, a date with hand-crafters showing and creating their work in front of the public. On the same day at the Casa Circondariale in Verbania a market display will take place entitled Lavorare.ne vale ancora la pena (work it's still worth your while) organised by the Lombardy and Piedmont Penal Institutes.
