“Tempo di migrar” comes back in the little town of Premia for the seventh consecutive year! It is a unique event organized for the transit of more than 3.000 sheep, accompanied by shepherds, which leave the summer pastures to reach the plain.

The spectacular and unusual ritual of transhumance will be celebrated on Saturday 1st October 2011.

At 3 pm the sheep arrive in Cadarese where, from 4 pm, there will be demonstrations of processing, carding and combing wool and felt, sheep shearing operations and presentations of artifacts. There will also be stands and stalls.

From 7.30 pm the local restaurants will offer menus strictly based on sheep and goat products.
